How do I check if a vehicle has been reported stolen?

Members of the public can search for vehicles reported stolen using the Canadian Police Information Centre (CPIC) online database.

A Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is required to conduct the search.

If you believe you have located a stolen vehicle, do not approach the vehicle or its occupants. Contact police.
